Noor of Atlanta is a non-profit foundation dedicated to Quran-centered education and the spiritual teachings of the Risale-i Nur. Our madrasa in Duluth, GA welcomes sisters, brothers, youth, and seekers of truth with weekly classes rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Qur'an & Tafseer

Structured classes from beginner to advanced, helping students recite, understand, and reflect upon the Qur'an through authentic Tafseer based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah, taught by qualified teachers in dedicated sisters' and brothers' halls.

Risale-i Nur Reading & Reflection

Weekly reading and reflection sessions on the Risale-i Nur Külliyat by Bediüzzaman Said Nursi. A powerful commentary on the Qur'an, the Risale-i Nur expounds the truths of faith with clear proofs.

Separate, comfortable weekly classes for sisters and brothers, with a dedicated kids' area running in parallel.

Sisters & Brothers Class Times Confirmed

Sisters hold one weekly class; brothers hold one weekly class. Both run in their own dedicated halls at the Duluth facility, with a separate kids' area for children ages 5–14.

Every class, circle, and mentoring session at Noor of Atlanta is provided free of charge. We are sustained by voluntary community donations and the grace of Allah.

Weekly Schedule

Regular Programs

Our madrasah is open to anyone who wishes to learn about Islam, study the Qur'an and the Risale-i Nur, and reflect together on the truths of faith. All of our programs are free of charge.

Sisters Saturday evening

Sisters' Weekly Class (Sisters-only Hall)

Held in our dedicated sisters' hall. Qur'an recitation, tafseer, aqeedah, and a rotating spiritual topic. Open to all sisters. Light refreshments served.

Brothers Saturday evening

Brothers' Weekly Class (Brothers-only Hall)

Held in the brothers' hall. Qur'an study, tafseer, hifz support, and study of the Risale-i Nur. Open to all brothers in the Atlanta community.

Wednesday Wednesday evening

Wednesday Home Ders

Every Wednesday, we gather at the home of one of our brothers for a short lesson from the Qur'an and the Risale-i Nur, followed by light refreshments and a warm conversation (muhabbet). This program is for brothers, and children are welcome to join as well.

Saturday–Sunday 11:00 AM

Youth Madrasa & Kids' Area

Full program for children ages 5–14: Qur'an, Islamic studies, character-building — and a separate indoor play area run by caring staff. Parents can attend adult classes at the same time.

Sunday 11:00 AM

Family Open Day

A welcoming day for families, bringing together new Muslims, and visitors. The program includes separate spaces for men, women, and children, allowing everyone to participate comfortably in a warm and respectful environment.

Daily Flexible

One-on-One Mentoring

Free, private sessions for reverts, new Muslims, and those seeking guidance. By appointment — both brothers' and sisters' mentors available.
